INTRODUCTION
With this information, Hippocrates Research S.r.l. (hereinafter also called “Hippocrates“) intends to illustrate the management methods of its website, accessible electronically at the web address §§§domainname§§§ (hereinafter also the "website"), with particular reference to the purposes and methods with which the personal data of the users who consult it are collected, recorded and used.
This information does not concern other sites, pages or online services accessible via hypertext links that may be published on the site, but referring to resources outside the entity’s domain.

1. PERSONAL DATA OBJECT OF TREATMENT

2. Legal basis and purpose of the processing
2.11 The processing of data referred to in lett. a) is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Article 6 letter f of the GDPR and Recital 47) and is aimed at allowing the functioning of the site and the provision of the navigation service on the platform, as well as checking the correct functioning of the services offered .

3. Obligation to provide navigation data
3.1. The provision of the data referred to in point a) above for the aforementioned purposes is optional. However, failure to provide it could compromise navigation on this site.

4. Data communication scope
4.1. The personal data collected will be processed exclusively:
a. subjects specifically appointed by the Data Controller for the purposes listed above;
b. by subjects who will process personal data as Data Processors (i.e. Web Agency and Web Hosting, for their respective duties).
4.2. The Web Hosting Provider is based in Genoa.

5. DATA TRANSFER ABROAD
5.1. Personal data are stored on servers located in Europe. In any case, it is understood that the Data Controller, if necessary, will have the right to move the servers even outside the EU. In this case, the Data Controller ensures from now on that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and in particular those referred to in Title V of the GDPR.
5.2. It is understood in any case that, should it be necessary for technical and/or operational issues to make use of subjects located outside the European Union or to transfer some of the data collected to technical systems and services managed in the cloud and located outside the European Union area, the Data Controller ensures from now on that the transfer of data outside the EU will take place in compliance with the applicable legal provisions and, in particular, those referred to in the Title V of the GDPR. All the necessary precautions will therefore be taken in order to guarantee the most complete protection of personal data, basing this transfer: a) on adequacy decisions of the recipient third countries expressed by the European Commission; b) on adequate guarantees expressed by the third party recipient pursuant to art. 46 of the Regulation; c) on the adoption of binding corporate rules.

6. Data retention period
6.1. The personal data referred to in lett. a) will be kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they are processed and in any case in compliance with the principles of minimization and limitation of conservation pursuant to art. 5.1 lett. e) of the GDPR.
6.2. For the retention period of the data referred to in lett. b) and c) please refer to the specific information indicated above.

9. Rights of the interested party
At any time you will be able to know the data concerning you, know how they were acquired, check if they are exact, complete, updated and well kept, request their correction or cancellation pursuant to articles 16 and 17 GDPR. You will also have the right to receive the personal data you have provided and processed with your consent, in a structured format, commonly used and readable by an automatic device, and to revoke any consent given in relation to the processing of data at any time. Pursuant to art. 21 GDPR, you will have the right to object in whole or in part to the processing of data for reasons connected to your particular situation; if the data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you will have the right to object to the relative processing for this purpose at any time.
These rights can be exercised through a specific request to be sent by registered letter - or certified email - to the Data Controller.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data.
